Our wines are made by hand in small batches at our winery in Portola Valley. We follow a minimalist philosophy in our winemaking, allowing the flavor of our region to shine through. Our red wines are fermented with native yeast and pressed in a traditional basket press. Our white wines are foot-crushed and fermented in barrel. We see wine as a testament to place and time, and unlike larger wineries that aim for standardization, we enjoy the variation that comes with each year.

Intriguing aromas of elderberry and mulberry meet with dried lilac and violet on the nose of this potpourri-laden bottling. Dried flowers, from rose to lavender, spice up the palate, where dried cranberries and a hint of game sit atop a slightly chewy, vibrant, dry medium-to-full body and a graceful, medium-length finish with drying tannins and moderate oak flavor. 2014 Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir

Aromas of baked figs and dates, dried rose petal, legumes, and roasted beets with a velvety, crisp, fruity light-to-medium body and a smooth, complex, long cafe latte, roasted berries, chocolate silk pie, black licorice, and toffee finish with moderate oak flavor. Refined fruits and endless notes of anise and chocolate make this a memorable Pinot Noir. [$38]
2017 Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay
Aromas and flavors of roasted agave, roasted squash, banana chips, sunflower seeds, honey, and stewed peaches with a slightly chewy, sharp, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a warming, interesting, easy finish with moderate oak flavor. A distinctive Chardonnay from the Palo Alto foothills. [$30]
2016 Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon
Spicy aromas and flavors of fine leather, cinnamon-dusted dried figs and dates, lemon custard, and blue fruit with a satiny, vibrant, fruity medium-to-full body and a warming, amusing, medium-length dark chocolate, pomegranate, and peppermint finish with silky tannins and moderate oak.
