Intriguing aromas of elderberry and mulberry meet with dried lilac and violet on the nose of this potpourri-laden bottling. Dried flowers, from rose to lavender, spice up the palate, where dried cranberries and a hint of game sit atop a slightly chewy, vibrant, dry medium-to-full body and a graceful, medium-length finish with drying tannins and moderate oak flavor. A somewhat brooding and chewy Pinot Noir for the table.
